Hotel Marceline

Marceline is my hometown and the little Hotel has been here for decades. It use to be called the Lamplighter. I came back for my 50th Class Reunion. It’s a very clean and nice Hotel. I would highly recommend it! Thank you

We liked this little motel that we could back our car right to the door & access it easily.

It’s a one story motel reminiscent of Route 66 types but with a fresh look, newly painted, decorated tastefully with Disney movie artwork-ours of Animal Kingdom theme. Our comfortable kingsize bed , flat screen tv with Roku available, small fridge with freezer and attached bathroom with tub/shower were perfect for the one night stay. Ice available from the office, no breakfast but Casey’s across street. Our room overlooked a pretty garden area with blooming flower pots. There is a little seating area ( balcony) right outside the door. It was private and quiet and parking just steps away. We heard of Ma Vic’s cafe downtown and a local man at Casey’s offered to show us the way. Delicious breakfast, good prices and service.

The value for the money. It was clean and reasonably quiet. The staff were accommodating. We would stay there again.

The property is very clean, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the Disney items on the walls and furniture was fun! The location was perfect…felt very safe!! The property management was very welcoming and nice.
